Milan Get Another Gunner

Reports in Italy today suggest that Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos is close to securing a season-long loan move to Italian giants AC Milan.

The loan, which will see Swiss international Senderos reunite with ex-Gunners’ team-mate Mathieu Flamini, has an option to make the switch permanent which could come into place if the 23-year-old impresses during his spell with the Rossoneri.

Milan have been chasing several Arsenal players since the signing of Mathieu Flamini. Emmanuel Adebayor was strongly linked to a move to the San Siro over the summer, but he finally signed a new Arsenal deal in August.

Arsenal are yet to confirm a deal is done with Senderos, while another Swiss defender, Johan Djourou is still rumoured to be on French side Rennes’ shopping list. Djourou’s departure seems unlikely though, as Arsene Wenger has already let up and coming defender Havard Nordtveit go out on loan.

Last season, Senderos was blamed for some slacking marking that allowed Liverpool to beat the Gunners in the Champions League. Criticised in the press, the Swiss defender took time to recover, although was able to play an important part in Switzerland’s unsuccessful Euro 2008 campaign.

Gooner Talk would like to wish Big Phil a successful spell with AC Milan, and hope to see him impressing for the Italian stars in the near future.

Shazz you ever played football. Do you know what a good footballer is.NEWS FLASH RVP is currently fit isnt he! Diaby got injured after a horrific tackle, he is still feeling that injury. I have seen diaby play and trust me he will be a great player. Walcott, Eboue and denilson in the last game were poor that I will admit and I question whether they are good enough to play first team. But to call them all shit when the nearest you have come to a football pitch is standing on the side lines cause no one picked you cause you were the kid that just talked about footy but never played it

Get a grip on reality u tool, instead of insulting me start looking past ur own delusional thoughts.
RVP is fit and he plays shit, he hasnt played good for 2 years probably since highbury times. Diaby the guy that has a horrific injury every 5 mins, and then get fit and gets injured again? Are you talking about that Diaby? Denilson isnt a first team player, walcott can only run fast in 1direction other than that nothign else, Adeyaoyr 30 chances to score 1 goal, RVP injury prone, Rosicky hasnt performed to the level he was it when playing in Germany and injury prone. Gallas rather fight with team mates than play proper, eboue well dont get me started, bendtnar nothing more than a sub player., other than this i cant see any other players. wo am i missing? Only players that are even upto standar are sagna, fabregas and clichy. Fabregas is certain to be of if we dont win the premiership this season. He is only staying because he thinks he owes something to wenger, but that can only last so far.

You are extremely fickle, yes we were horrendous last year, but calling most of our players shit when only last year you were probably praising them is ridiculous. Calm down or go tothe Spuds where you can complain foreva.
