if anythin happens then i dont think it will be till end of next week or maybe even the week after. we've got bolton at home this week n think we've got a squad capable of winnin this game and i think wenger thinks that as well hence why he aint rushin on the Arshavin deal.

Here is the full transcript on transfers, as accurate as possible.

Arsenal TV: The other thing of course in January is the transfer window. There are stories in the papers about Arshavin, what’s the state of play there?
Wenger: That’s exactly the same as with the team, don’t talk too much and deliver on the pitch. That is what we try to do, not to talk too much about who we want to buy and who will come in, but try to deliver and at the moment I cannot announce you any good news and in this job as well no news is good news. This means nothing has fallen through as well.
Arsenal TV: So it’s fair to say that you are talking at least about it?
Wenger: We are on alert on the transfer market.
Arsenal TV: Because in the press conference last week you were asked specifically about Arteta, Given and Arshavin and you said no to Given, no to Arteta but on Arshavin you said no news either way.
Wenger: Exactly, exactly, I maintain what I said last week.
Arsenal TV: You said you might get one player in if it was a special talent, Arshavin is that, but would you still be after someone in the defensive part of the midfield as well? If you were to get him…
Wenger: Well, I believe we firstly have a priority then we can go to the second target and I believe we need to work on the players coming back and who have moved into the team since the start of the season in the defensive area, I don’t think we are in a big need but we are short at the moment and we have missed since the start of the season a player like Rosicky, to play in 80% of our games, he has not played at all and we feel we need somebody more in this area.
Arsenal TV: Are you interested in a keeper at all because there were the stories about Shay Given?
Wenger: No, no. We have to keepers with Almunia and Fabianski who we rate highly.
Arsenal TV: Would you ever consider signing someone on loan until the end of the season?
Wenger: Yes, there is no problem for that, if it’s a loan with an option to buy then why not?
Arsenal TV: And in terms of players leaving, Kolo Toure’s transfer story is still going on..
Wenger: No, that’s finished. We will not sell any players at the moment.
Arsenal TV: So no-one will be leaving?
Wenger: No, (no-one will leave.)

Later on….

Wenger: I want to add maybe one or two special talents if we can.
