Manchester United 0-0 Arsenal
Manchester United sealed a third successive Premier League title by getting the point they needed against Arsenal – but the Old Trafford celebrations only started after an afternoon gripped by tension.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s side knew a draw would ensure they equalled Liverpool’s long-time record of 18 titles, but Arsenal ensured they did not earn their prize without a fight.
Robin van Persie and Cesc Fabregas both wasted opportunities to drag the title race into its final week and leave United with more work to do at Hull City on the last day of the season as nerves jangled in the closing stages.
But United’s defence, so often the bedrock of their success this season, delivered another clean sheet when Ferguson needed it most and Old Trafford erupted in ecstasy at the final whistle as an 11th Premier League success was confirmed.

I like to see dzeko but we still got eduardo coming back. Apparently croatia are going to call him up cause hes fit. I like to see how eduardo and van persie play. And for me bendtner is improving alot if he could just convert thoise chances more regulary he will be a top striker. Lets see what happens next season but i got a feeling bendtner will be a revelation next season. Him and walcott will be on fire
When does the transfer window open? with no international competitions i expect things to move quicker. Ade, Gallas and Bentender to go. Please Arsene, dont wait all summer to make some signings. We should be able to raise around 25 to 30 mill by selling the players mentioned above. Plus any extra in yhe kitty gives us a good spending capacity. Only worry is that we are certainly losing credibility as a top European team with the lack of silverware so Wenger gonna really have to do some hard work to bring some class players in.

What has happenend to Cesc, he used to be so influential, today he really looked half the player he used to be. Diaby needs to be more penetrating with his runs from midfield and Van P has to learn to be a striker he drops far too deep at times and seems always to have his back to goal rather than running into space. Positives, defence looked better, and Denilson didnt do too badly. Attacking wise we seemed to run out of ideas, no real flow from midfield to attack, it was like playing with 6 midfielders
I also read about that today. It surely has to be just some sick rumour…13 million??? I hope that’s only something the media decided to make up to stir up the fans.

Steve Stammers says arsenal will bid for thomas vermaelen from ajax. To be honest hes a good player but hes not tall. Hes about 6ft and we need tall experienced centre halves. Vermaelen is a talented player hes strong, very inteligent great awareness but not sure about him against someone like drogba. Vermaelen will play for a big club in the future hes highly rated. But i prefer jan vertonghen hes 6ft 4 can play CB, LB, LW, DM

Sakho is for the future, he cannot enter the first team immediately. Hangeland is the experienced one who can fill in the defence. Together with Gallas,Toure,Djourou and Senderos(maybe..) we will have a rock solid backline.
Goonerdan are you a common day idiot? Why do you believe the papers rather than what the players actually say? or do you stu=ill believe that is miraculously made up?
I reckon Ade is a gonner. Gallas may very well go to. And Senderos will most likely never wear an arsenal shirt again. And Silvester should never have worn one in the first place. Therefore we have lost 3 centrehalves. In Gallas its 1 top class but better if he left, in Silvester its 1 who should never have been bought and in Senderos its 1 not quite up to the mark.
I reckon Song will be used as centrehalf next season, although not first choice. (I hope)
If Silvester is going to PSG we should use him as a sweetner in taking that Sakho kid. Hes 19 but hes been captain since 17.
Maybe try use Gallas as makeweight for a Cana bid?
Then use whever we get for Ade to get a Huntelaar or that guy burning up the bundesliga right now. And also Hangeland from Fulham.
Its not out of the question is it?

I would love arsenal to buy chilleni hes one of the best centre halves in the world. Hes got everything u need to play in the premiership and hes a nutter. We could get him for like 10-15 million cause juventus are in debt
highly doubt we would go for chiellini because he loves playing for juve..plus their fans would go mental if they sold him. i think realistically hangelaand is our best option because i doubt he would cost more than 10 million and at 27 he is experienced, plus hes huge which is what we need. Apart from him and an experienced CM i dont think we need any others unless people decide to leave, and we dont really know how much money we have to spend
I believe Arsene is profoundly hurt by what happened the other day at the fans questionnaire thing, and that might make him consider his future at Arsenal . Arsene has been severely blamed for not buying and all , maybe we don’t know what really is going behind the curtains, Maybe the Board who should be blamed cause Im sure Arsene would have bought couple of class act to add to his fortress if he had the Cash, honestly who knows maybe the board told him to keep it tight and try recruiting within the Academy thats because of the Debt the club owes! and Having Just seen whats on SSN and the Daily mail , it Just shows that he is deeply hurt, and feels he is not wanted anymore, which is honestly would be sooo Sad if he leaves for Real Madrid Next year. I have never doubt Arsene , even if we go 5 , 6 season with out a Trophy so what , people tend to talk about Arsene and Arsenal not winning The PL , okay hmm when was the last time Liverpool won it? why aren’t people talking about them? its Just funny when something even though its a tiny thing happens at Arsenal all the media go Va voom on us even some of our fans which is really Sad. anyway i sincerely hope that Arsene is going to stay with us till he Retires!!
