Arsenal 4-1 Stoke City
Arsenal finished the season on a high with victory over Stoke City at the Emirates Stadium.
An own goal from James Beattie was swiftly followed up by a penalty from Robin van Persie and Abou Diaby’s bullet header.
Stoke, safe from any last-day relegation drama, pulled a goal back from the spot through Ricardo Fuller, only for Rory Delap to then gift van Persie his second four minutes before half-time.

Well done lads! We had nothing to play for, nor did Stoke but it was crucial for us to win well infront of our home ‘fans’. Now for a good summer and hopefully next year will be more like 07/08 season.
No Ade in the squad, we probably wont see him in Arsenal colours again me thinks.
Nice win today. Had the hardest time getting a stream. I was on Arsenal TV but that was shit and on another site that was about 15mins. behind lol. Glad we ended the season with a win. Could have been at least 7-1 lol. Wenger will buy during the summer, no doubt about it. Just hope it will be the right players for the team. ARSENAAAALLLL!!!

There’s a greater chance that he could come here now. Newcastle will lose most of their best players this summer.
The more money we can get for Adebayor, the better our summer will be.
No, no and more no. We need an established muscular and tall centre back in the mould of tony adams/keown.
Ok, thats going to be hard to come by by Bassong who was part of the defence that leaked 50 odd goals is not what we need if we want to patch up our own leaky defence. He wouldnt even start anyway, and song provides good cover

Bloody Phil Brown, singing Karaoke and celebrating like they won the title or something. Champagne for finishing 17th? Hull CIty must have taken a leaf from the financial world, reward failure with big fat pay checks.
Who will come in this summer?
Im not sure, think Chelski will get Dzeko. I watch bundesliga when I can and VFL Wolfsburg deserve the title than anyone else, but I dont think they will be able to as Magarth will leave for Schalke and I have a feeling Grafite and Dzeko will certainly leave. Dont think we should go for Bassong, needed someone more experienced.
We need to keep VPersie, guy is fantastic. Congrats to him for 20 goals this season. If ade is sold we should buy another forward as counting on Eduardo to stay fit for the full season next year will be a big ask.
Oh and should we give Diaby another year? He hasnt really taken his oppourtunity this year. His 23 already and maybe should go to another team but I like the guy. Whats your opinion lads!

everytime i see posts about defenders i throw up a name that no 1 seems to like i think he would b great and wenger would get him bk 2 ere he was a few years ago MICAH RICHARDS at 9 maybe 11 million ????
Hangeland’s alright mate, but there is a bit of shitness about him; we could get better. I think bassong would be a better choice; hes got everything speed, power, good control and he speaks french! Altough i don’t thing we’ll get any of these lads, another experienced guy from europe i think, maybe bruno alves?

Thumbs up. We gonna achieve a lot next season. I hope we not gonna sell any player we need them all plus we need to add just some few players in case of injuries. Above all we gonna be alright.
