Arsenal confirm Rosicky injury
The Arsenal Press Office have told Gooner Talk that Tomas Rosicky has sustained an injury — but refused to get drawn into details on the severity of it.
Former Gunner Ian Wright revealed on his talkSPORT show yesterday afternoon that Rosicky could be out for up to ‘5 to 6 weeks’ with a muscle problem.
It’s currently unknown how serious the injury is.
Speaking to Gooner Talk, the Arsenal press office said:
“Tomas is injured.
We have no further comment at this stage.”
Rosicky’s latest blow looks likely to rule him out until mid-September, with Czech Republic boss Ivan Hasek revealing how serious he thinks the 28-year-old’s injury appears.
“We hoped he would come (to play against Belgium). We have no detailed information about the injury. It was clear that after such a long time minor muscle injuries have to come,” Hasek told Czech paper Sport, having talked to Rosicky by telephone late Wednesday.
“I don’t know the diagnosis and it’s hard for me to judge if he would be able to help us against Slovakia [Sept. 5]. But muscle injuries take at least three weeks. It’s tough for him. But compared with the previous serious injury, this is a minor thing.”

I guess he might have a small injury or no injury at all.. but wenger doesn’t want him to leave for belgium… as he is injury prone and this season is so crucial for tomas as well as arsene.
feel bad for Rosicky….every time he gets back up, he gets knocked down…but he will rise again, PROMISE….but despite all the ridicule, gotta give it to Mr. Wright…he was right about Vieira, and right about this news…feel he is a man with some credibility…
I hope he’ll be better very soon than we expect but Mr wenger must do something in the transfer market this summer even kalou!
To my own understandings Rosicky is injured coz for all the two matches without him playing cant be logical as being made by arsene wenger.we miss him and we really need him in the shortest time possible.
