a facebook friend of mine posted this on my wall after i reminded him of CL:
“why, cos you know your getting owned
    lemme think
you shouldnt go to spain too. cos barca beat you in champions league final a few years back.
you shouldn’t go to england, cos this season i recall man united beating you, sunderland, us (total domination, 5-0 together),”

-i m still laughing on his style!

  2. pat says:

hes giving terry the evil eye cause he just found out that terry is hitting on Mrs Ancelotti…

  3. Danish gooner says:

Ancelotti is a good guy – too bad he chose Chelsea – don’t be unfair with him

  4. AK says:

hahahah john terry knocked over a chelsea security staff in his car, i think that defeat has affected him and will therefore affect the whole team hahahahahha

  5. ian says:

not sure this will be a good thing for arsenal.. as the chelski will have 1 less distraction… got freed up to 4 games. so they’ll fully concentrate on premier league and FA cup…

  6. ros says:

    another one bites the dust

  7. gunner17 says:

yeah chelsea will rape the league now i’m afraid.

hopefully manU and these scum will take a couple points off eachother when they meet, but i can’t see anyone else taking points off either team.

  8. an arse worth having says:

2/3 points isn’t much, not this season anyway. I don’t think we need to be concerned about the other 2 dropping points, its making sure we win our games that’s problem. I think if we do win them all then whatever happens we can be proud that the team did all it could. Also a sneaky feeling that it’d mean we’d won the league.

  9. fraster says:

Ancelotti: One dosis of his proper medicine…great Inter defending yesterday, and they made better game than Chelski, so, perfect if Barcelona is eliminated today, and very good if Special One comes to England.

  10. Classic! Hopefully now they are brought down a peg or two. Drogba? where was he all game? He was Bloody useless, and goes to show they rely on key players to provide all the magic. The rest were just so average. ‘King Gillingham F.C could have beat them that night.

  11. Adam_Gunner says:

holy cow !! we got barca !!!!

  12. Callum says:

Man UTD get lucky again wtf i still feel we can beat inter if we get past barca.

  13. Gunningooner says:

u mean WHEN we get past Barca

  14. Callum says:

hmmmmm, dno wether being home 1st is an advantage or disadvantage?

  15. D-da Gooner says:

Gonna be a tough game but could be the making of some of our players. If they really want to be the best then now is their opportunity to test themselves against the BEST out there right now.

Barca do have weakness’s at the back as exploited by Stutggart in the first leg, but they never fully took advantage, we have to make EVERY chance count against this lot!!!!!

  16. Mikey says:

The annoying thing is that we do better at home and as the first leg is at home we might not get as motivated to really attack Barcelona in the first leg than if we were playing to overturn the tie in the second leg at home

  17. chris says:

messi is going to love playing against us.. so much space, up against clichy, i cant see arshavin tracking back much so it will be 1v1 unless song or diaby come across to help out.
we are just gonna have to hope we have some sort of advantage from the first leg and somehow no concede.. comeee on arseenaaal

  18. joe says:

We will beat barca and anyway we got further than the chelski scum

  19. Legends Return = Sol Campbell = We beat Pompey
= Rob Pires = We beat Villareal
= Paddy Vieira = We beat Juve
= Titi Henry = You r next Titi

If Arsh is fit, he roast Alves for all day long but Arsh must track to avoid Messi and Alves doubling on Clichy.

Same tactics against Porto at Home is needed, play combination players [ala Arsh, Ros, Nas NOT Theo] get them to play in-between the CB and Fullback [narrow] and as the fullback overlap them, it forces the the wingers [Henry, Messi] to do more defending like [Varela & Hulk] until the coach told them not to track back and subsequently had 15mins good spell.

Away, let Theo open his legs on the counter.

  20. tc says:

    Imagine henry scoring against us???

  21. Michael says:

    Imagine fabregas scoring against them

  22. chris says:

henry wouldn’t celebrate.. i would hope not anyway

  23. Highbury4L says:

oh dear, I aint sure about this….we’ll end up playing them eventually even if we did keep winning…were not gonna win either way. Barcelona are just ridiculously good

I just hope we dont lose the home game

  24. Jack says:

I’m well looking foward to Messi vs Campbell one-on-one……Messi will have to be arrested after raping Sol for 90 minutes!

Can’t see us causing Barca too many problems to be honest. They’ll soak it up at the Emirates and punish us on the counter. I don’t even want to think about what might happen at the Nou Camp.

  25. Ken says:

Barcelona.. one of the toughest if not the toughest opponent on the continental level. Certainly a match to watch but I’m afraid Messi will rape us. We have to, and I mean we HAVE TO win the home match if we are to have any chance of progressing, cause I can’t see us beating them at Camp Nou. I’m afraid Clichy will mess it up, just hope that somehow Vermaelen can be at his very best and stop Messi. Henry would relish facing us also but again returned legends always suffer defeats (Vieira, Pires). I would say 2-1 for Barca at Camp Nou and we will beat them 1-0 at Emirates.

  26. Malaysian Gooners says:

Guys.keep our self-belief. It’s a wastage talking about Barca and stuffs that they have and at the same time we abusing our team. I am confident that we will beat Barca!!

  27. @ Jack, bloody moron, Spud in disguise.

  28. Gunningooner says:

    @ JACK, get OFF

  29. damstar says:

they key to winning the barca tie is that we should try to keep them away from getting a goal at the emirate….like wat we did to ac milan 3 seasons ago…and we get to camp nou, song and diaby need to work extra hard on messi like flamini did to kaka in that game…and we should be patient as well and wen the game will be about 10 minute to end, cesc will the the magic again at the camp nou i believe….hard work and patience we let us get over barca….

  30. usfan says:

i wanted to either draw united or barca and we got barca. what arsenal fan doesn’t want to watch the two best teams battle it out at the grove? I have had offers for my ticket already but this is a once in a life time match, i can’t wait.. the place will be buzzing. messi and henry at our stadium, wow. we should win the first leg.

  31. Goonerdan says:

Frustrated that theo doesn’t start again. Not really fair on him. He’s been making big impacts off the bench and had a great game in his last start yet he hasn’t started since. Thought he would today especially with a home game. Bit unfair on him I feel. Rotation with nasri and arshavin should be the way

  32. jojo says:

ht 1-0 man vermaelan red we need him

  33. arsenal4ever says:

    hopeless pool.

  34. mike says:

    atleast chelsea dropped points today

  35. an arse worth having says:

Can’t blame Liverpool for yet again more dodgy reffing. It looks like ManU’s title as neither us or Chelsea can play with 12 men.

  36. hiro says:

    why u gone? everythin allrite?

  37. Arsenalgunner27 says:

this ancelloti thread has been stuck here for ages…is that chris on holiday?

  38. pierre says:

hi chris are you still alive?comeon man we need your ideas!!!!have you guys heard henry on skysports news.he was almost in tears …he doesnt want to face arsenal!!!what a legend!!!dont worry thierry whatever happens you’ll always be the gunners prodigy, always welcome to your spritual home and for me always the best!!! i still think we will beat barca!!! it will be a fantastic match at nou camp.i predict a 2-1 win at the emirates and a draw at nou camp.
