Team Predictions: SC Neusiedl 1919 v Arsenal

    im getting very impatient with our transfer policy this summer. We have let go gallas, silvestre, senderos, campbell and eduardo and only signed a free transfer and an unproven defender.Wish wenger would sign a gk a couple of cbs.

    I was really hoping that we would sign a Gk before this weekend.I`m sure we will sign at least 1 more defender coz Campbell seems ready to sign for Newcastle…Again it seems like another frustrating summer. Now too make matters worse Almunia will start in goal very shortly.

    The starting lineup was
    ———-Almunia————
    –Nordveit–Djourou-Koscielny-Gibbs–
    ————-Frimpong—————
    ——-Wilshere——Nasri———-
    –Walcott——————–Arshavin—–
    ————JET—————–

    Its currently 2-0 to the boys at half time! Djourou came off after 30mins Vermaelen replaced him!

    frimpong, wilshire, nasri, and JET were all excellent in the first half. frimpong broke up everything, sometimes several times in a row. wilshire has just class oozing everywhere, making great runs and providing balls – same with nasri, never lost it. JET started slow but finished well and looked bright.

    walcott did not look good aside from the goal. neither did gibbs in my opinion, especially on defense – lost his man continually. kos was okay but our back line was again suspect on corners – not sure whose fault that was. nordveidt was not particularly good. arshavin looked a bit disinterested and not sharp at all.

    excited to see the second half.

    wouldnt expect ramsey this season.

    interesting how wenger played frimpong all match in that spot – thought he was excellent, as said before. the reason i am so impressed with him is that we have droves of creative players who attack and cant defend (too many to list). we only have one player (song) who is capable of sitting in that hole and breaking up play. frimpong, if he can continue his current play and is rewarded a spot on the side, would be an excellent player to spell for song – if not now, then in the future.

    im happy with our current squad, we dont need another keeper. we may need another cb, but not if we have to break the bank. we are progressing in the right way, if we finish in the top 4 again i’ll be a very happy man. look at what city is spending to try to complete with us, its laughable.

    @ arseneman. Are u serious? Are u happy with our squad? Our goalkeeper? U need help. Go book yourself in chief. I don’t think any normal gooner will agree with u. It’s laughable that we have signed no goalkeeper yet. We have the only and if we don’t spend it we will finish out side the top4 then all the top players will leave. I’m sure u will be one of the 1st calling for wengers head. When all I will be doing is siting back and saying I told u so.

    @John:

    john that is good to hear thanks for sharing. however, you and i know that there is no way he will be back to his old self by october. he may have bulked up, but he will still be short of game fitness, speed, and probably not fully recovered. no need to rush him as he is one for the future. hope you are right though.
