VIDEO: Walcott, Wilshere & Gibbs train with England

Arsenal trio Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs trained with England today at the Gunners’ London Colney training ground ahead of Wednesday’s international friendly against Hungary.

Both Wilshere and Gibbs were drafted in by Three Lions boss Fabio Capello for the midweek friendly and could win their first caps for their country.

Capello seems determined to inject some youth into his disappointing World Cup 2010 squad, while the decision could be the beginning of a long international career for the pair.

Check out the video below (You may be able to spot Arsenal’s Under-18’s squad training on the pitch behind England)

England squad to face Hungary on Wednesday:

Ben Foster (Birmingham), Joe Hart (Manchester City)

Gary Cahill (Bolton Wanderers), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Michael Dawson (Tottenham Hotspur), Kieran Gibbs (Arsenal), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Glen Johnson (Liverpool), John Terry (Chelsea)

Gareth Barry (Manchester City), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Adam Johnson (Manchester City), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), James Milner (Aston Villa), Ashley Young (Aston Villa), Theo Walcott (Arsenal), Jack Wilshere (Arsenal)

Darren Bent (Sunderland), Carlton Cole (West Ham United), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Bobby Zamora (Fulham)

@fidogunner: Nothing will happen with Given until the first game of the season. If he starts for City, he won’t be leaving.

@Gooner Chris: we need to sign whoever doesnt start for city on saturday, even if its on loan for the season. we cant go on with the goalkeepers we have if we want to win a trophy or be in the top 4 this season. everyone knows this.

City can afford to keep both keepers and not strengthen their rivals. If one of them asks to leave it won’t mean they will be moving, they are under contract.

Who says we are trying to sign a keeper anyway?

if we have ‘fab’ianski as number 1 we will get 20 points less than we did last season for sure, top 6 finish with that cretin in goal would be good

IMO any one of them is still better than those gks we got at the emirate now. we just need a short term solution in the gk department. someone with experience and still capable of producing quality performance at the top level for 2 seasons before szcesny is ready.

I think, we should sign joe hart. If we sign schwarzer or friedel, they’re all almost 40, more less speed and reaction. We should sign a not-too-young goalkeeper but not-too-old too. Joe hart will be the best choice.

maybe we are just skint, there cant be another logical explanation as to why we still have fabianski and manuel as 1 and 2 keepers and only 3 senior CB’s less than a week until the first game.. wengers either not trying and not willing to pay the price now.. looking for cheap as usual
