Arsenal get Ipswich in Carling Cup semi’s

Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane is set to renew hostilities with Arsene Wenger — but this time as manager of Ipswich Town.

The Gunners have been drawn to play the Tractor Boys in the semi-final of the League Cup, with the first leg to be played at Portman Road.

Arsenal have had to overcome Spurs, Newcastle and Wigan in the competition so far.

Carling Cup semi-final draw:

West Ham United v Birmingham City
Ipswich Town v Arsenal

Two legged ties to played on weeks commencing 10 Jan and 24 Jan.

I don’t care what anyone says if we don’t win this cup now, people have the right to call us what they want whether it’s losers, bunch of softies, unexperienced, kids, toddlers, embryos etc.

I really don’t care now, now that we’ve got the most blessing team you could think of in a semis we need to win this cup, 2-0 away should do it at Ipswich, whilst at home they should get a battering something like 5 or 6-0 is what I’m looking at. This is a 2 legged game so us getting through has to be a piece of cake and facing West Ham or Birmingham isn’t a problem anyways. Come February if that Trophy isn’t at this club then you can forget about this whole load of sh*it and we will not win anything for years to come and deserved to be forgotten about, it’s time for this team to go and demand that trophy I’ve fu*king had enough!!!

Yes, but can anyone answer this question: Has he built a defence other than the one George left him?

Exactly what I’m thinking mate, looking for 4 goals minimum to score at the Emirates and 2 or 3 away regardless of the conditions, this is IPSWICH FFS!!!
