Howard Webb to referee Monday's game

Yorkshire-born Howard Webb will referee Monday’s Clash of the Titans between Manchester United and Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Webb, who famously refereed the summer’s Champions League and FIFA World Cup finals’, has been involved in a number of controversies during recent seasons, many of which, coincidentally enough, have occurred on United’s home ground.

Those incidents have also led many Red Devils fans to question Webb’s partiality.

However, a statistic in Arsenal’s favour is that the last time they lost a Premier League game with Webb as the referee was at Old Trafford in April 2008 – winning six of nine matches officiated by him since then.

Referee`s are someone elses department. As in rugby they`re all guilty until proven innocent. Women whistle blowers might be the answer, they`re fit, not as corruptable, have a good understanding of the rules and , even if the game is boring ,you can watch the ref (if you know what I mean?)…….just a thought.

Forget about the referee. We must take our chances when they come. Attack as a unit, defend as a unit. Victory is assured.

This man again! I’m nt in support of this. So arsenal have to play three things against man u.1 the home crowd.2 the man u team.3 and that man u “man” (howard webb). So,song and koscieny, you have to be extra careful.all the best.

If Man Utd fans are questioning Webb’s partiality, doesn’t this mean they feel he is ANTI-UTD? If true, this should surely be to Arsenal’s benefit.

England politics. Damnit. Webb is a mancs fan. Shouldn’t be this way, but it will surely add spice to the victory if we win. Gooners for life

Fucking arsharvin. I hate him. He is crap. We play with 10men when we have him in the side. He is useless. Wenger out. Another chance blown and it’s only half time. Had enough. Wenger out.
