Arsenal let four goal lead slip against Newcastle

Newcastle scored four second half goals to put a dent in Arsenal’s title hopes and secure arguably the comeback of the season.

The travelling Arsenal supporters were in dreamland after Theo Walcott, Johan Djourou and Robin Van Persie saw the Gunners go three up in under ten minutes.

Robin van Persie scored a fourth for the Gunners before the half time whistle saved the Magpies from more of a mauling. The second half was an entirely different game as the Toon Army battled back into the proceedings. The home side were helped by Abou Diaby who foolishly lashed out at Joey Barton and was sent off.

Temperamental Barton scored a penalty soon after and then Leon Best scored a second to give Newcastle a lifeline. Then Joey Barton put away another spot kick before Cheick Tioté levelled an amazing game.

im really fed up with all these people who support arsenal one minute and want wenger out the next.for god sake grow up!! you must know by now that we have a lot of anti arsenal people out there. the ref was bias and determined to make sure newcastle get a result.barton should have been sent off.you re blaming diabi who had a very good first half and got fed up with been injured!(a similar foul on him broke his leg a few years back).the ref not only sent diabi off but didnt even give us a free kick.2 penalties ,our goal keeper gets kicked by their player and he gets a yellow card.im very upset too, very angry especially as manure lost their game, but im not angry with our players.either you support your team or go and find another one to moan about.im sure most of the moaners on here will come back and say how amazing wenger is.mark my word.

i have seen ALL the incidents again….

arsenal fans really are a fucking pathetic whining bunch.

    1. the koscielny foul is a CLEAR PENALTY. NO QUESTION. what the fuck is that fake-ass fuckwit thinking??! where the HELL was his striker going? NOWHERE. AWAY from goal. and yet this moron puts his feets through him, and gets NONE of the ball. you deserve to concede a peno for that stupidity.

    clear pen.

    2. newcastle were denied a perfectly legit goal of their own. best was CLEARLY onside. hhow many clear goals were arsenal denied then?? hmmm? FIX UP.

    3. the second rosicky pen is never in a million years a peno. NO WAY. but before cunts start talking about phil dowd, ask yourselves FIRST why rosicky, that waste of fucking space, does not boot the ball away for a throw in and instead, gives them a free kick in a dangerous area?
SECOND of all IT WAS THE LINESMAN WHO GAVE THE PENALTY NOT PHIL DOWD.

get ur facts straight. dowd NEVER GAVE IT.
he can only listen to what his lino says in such a case when he has seen nothing.

    4. when a team is FOUR FUCKING NIL UP, HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU BLAME THE REFEREE FOR FAILING TO WIN THE GAME?

    5. kevin nolan almost WON the game for newcastle at the end. how fucking PATHETIC is that? hmm?

    6. shitachi MOVES OUT OF THE WAY of tiote’s strike LIKE A COWARD. the oldest guy on the pitch with the most experience, acting like a fucking PUSSYHOLE.

JUST FUCK OFF WITH YOUR REF EXCUSES AND GROW A PAIR

It’s not the refs fault or Diaby’s.

The thing is the only thing wenger needed to do after conceding the first or second goal was to pack the midfield in a 4-1-3-1 with non casual players. rosicky, eboue and squillaci play as if they’re still in training. There wasn’t a recognised central defensive minded player left on the bench. should have left arshavin, at least he defends better than those that did come on. The team should have looked like this after conceding the second goal.

    scezney
    sagna squillaci koscielny clichy
    wilkshire
    bendtner fabragas arshavin
    chamackh

Theres no point in saying he should have bought a defender, because we all know thats the problem, but this message doesn’t get to him.

Fabregas should have rounded the players up after conceding the 2nd or 3rd and motivate them. All he does is just gets upset and angry. scezney was the only player trying to motivate the team afer making saves.

I hear belief and desire to win to many times along with physical and mental strength with mature performance but when i hear these words from wenger it doesn’t mean anything.
