Shakhtar Donetsk 2-1 Arsenal (UEFA Champions League)

Theo Walcott continued his impressive goalscoring form in the early season with another well taken strike. Arsenal hit Shakhtar on the break, Wilshere lofting a clever through-ball over the top into space sending the England speedster in the clear. Walcott raced away and cooly slotting home from the edge of the area to give the Gunners the lead.

However, Walcott’s goal was scored in vain as the Ukranianin giants hit back through Dmyto Chygrynskiy’s header and former Gunner Eduardo da Silva netting the winner.
