Arsène Wenger has confirmed both Ryo Miyaichi and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will make their full Arsenal debuts in tomorrow’s Carling Cup clash against Shrewsbury Town.

The Gunners boss looks set to field a mix of youth and experience in hope of guiding Arsenal to back-to-back Wembley finals.

“You will see the likes of Ryo and Oxlade-Chamberlain. You should be excited about Oxlade-Chamberlain because he is a great talent. My target is to develop him so he confirms the expectation I have for him”, Wenger said.

18-year-old Chamberlain made his Arsenal debut coming off the substitutes bench in the 8-2 mauling at Manchester United, but impressed while on international duty with the U21’s, as well as in the club’s reserve fixtures.

These YOUNG GUNS will make their mark against Shews …. and they will feature more in the 1st XI … wait and see.
A complete different and fresh look for future games in the EPL…. and Arsene must come to terms and ‘blood’ these young gunners in!
Then will there be hunger to excel and compete!!!

The guys are quality. They deserve more playing time. I was a disappointed in the match against blackburn. Own goals yes but as for Song its no good to blame him. Why was all both posts not covered. We have to improve guys. The team wil pick up. Gunners for life!

i expect these 2 to tear the opponents tonight and allow park to score some goals in his debut. my starting line up is this:
fabianski
jenkinson-djourou-miquel-gibbs
couquelin
ozyakup-benayoun
alex-park-ryo
park to get 2, benayoun 1 , alex 1, fabianski to concede a slappy goal 4-1 in the end
