Your Predictions: Arsenal v Liverpool

Arsenal avoided an FA Cup upset with a late Theo Walcott winner at Brighton on Saturday, but Liverpool suffered one of the biggest shocks of the round when losing at Oldham on Sunday.

Mikel Arteta has not played since the FA Cup third round clash with Swansea on January 6th but could come into contention here after Arsene Wenger stated that the Spaniard was “a matter of days” away from a return ahead of their match with Brighton.

Francis Coquelin is unlikely to be involved, however, while Thomas Vermaelen is a doubt with an ankle injury.

Stat: Liverpool have won only once in their last 11 league meetings with Arsenal

Likely Arsenal line-up: Szczesny; Sagna, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Gibbs; Ramsey, Cazorla, Wilshere, Giroud, Podolski, Walcott.

Liverpool won’t be an easy game !

I think much depends on which Arsenal show up ?

If we are slow getting out of the bloacks agin, it might cost us dearly … if we start half-well, then I expect us to win a closely fought game.

depends how arsenal play first half.if they let liverpool play and dont chase down there players and are defenders let them cross the ball in every time(sagna)then we are fooked.,if we can at least get a 50/50 first half then out of the blocks 2nd half then we can win

I agree with above, if arsenal come out of the blocks strong we have the potential to make any team look stupid, arsenal to win 3-1
