Leicester City officials will meet in Los Angeles on Monday to discuss the likes of Riyad Mahrez, as well as a number of their other top stars, according to Sky Sports News.

The Algerian international has been heavily linked with a move to north London in recent days after a Eurosport report in France claimed that he had told the Foxes he wants to join Arsenal this summer, with the player’s agent watching Arsenal take on Lens in France last week.

Claudio Ranieri had initially told reporters that Mahrez was certain to not leave the club this summer but according to Sky’s sources, their officials will meet to discuss the likes of Kasper Schmeichel, Danny Drinkwater, Danny Simpson as well as Mahrez, having already tied captain Wes Morgan down to a long-term contract, as well as last season’s top scorer Jamie Vardy – who rejected a move to Arsenal.

The Premier League champions were unable to hold onto N’Golo Kante however, who joined Chelsea.

If Leicester’s officials set a fee that they would be happy to sell Mahrez for, information could find itself to reporters and the player’s agent, which is likely to further speculation, with the 25-year-old already confirming that he would not be signing a new contract.
