Arsenal youngster snapped up by VFL Wolfsburg on three-year deal

Arsenal youngster, Kaylen Hinds has left the club to join Wolfsburg on a permanent transfer for a fee of £2 million.

Hinds joined Arsenal from Leyton Orient in 2012 but never came close to first-team football for the Gunners. Although the forward signed a new deal with Arsenal in January, Hinds struggled to play in Arsenal’s under-23 squad last season and was subsequently sent on loan to Stevenage where his struggles continued. Once a highly rated youth prospect, Arsenal fans may be worried about the recent departures of promising youth stars from the club due to lack of chances to impress.

They will be hoping that this trend is checked by the appointment of club captain, Per Mertesacker, as head of the academy next year.
