Arsenal linked to another remarkable world-class hit-man

Though Arsenal may have invested in excess of £100m for Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang collectively within the last year, it’s emerged that the Gunners are supposedly in contact with none other than FC Bayern Munich’s imposing hit-man Robert Lewandowski’s agent, Pini Zahavi.

According to a report published by Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, rumours have culminated as a result of the clinical Polish striker opting to change his agent recently and noises of an exit from the Bavarian giants have subsequently reverberated around the rumour mill, and Arsenal, supposedly, are one of the many parties which are keen to acquire the attacker’s signature.

Arsenal, however, would find it exceedingly difficult to accommodate the 29-year-old at the Emirates due to the grandiose array of target-men already contracted at the club, unless they were indeed willing to make room for his highly sought-after services, that is.

Real Madrid are also an alleged admirer of ‘Lewy’ and are themselves vying to capture his influence in front of the target for the 2018-19 campaign, meaning that Los Blancos would also have to free up space for the Poland captain, with so many renowned enigmas already being on the books at the Santiago Bernabeu.

But, ultimately, Der FCB will do everything within their steely, domineering powers to retain Lewandowski’s supreme offensive qualities, so if there is to be a staunch tug-of-war once the summer transfer window comes to prominence, expect Bayern to fight their corner with tenacious intent.
