Ade Gripes At Tax In The UK
Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has moaned about the tax paid in Britain — and the £8 congestion charge.
The 24-year-old striker, who recently signed an £80,000-a-week deal, was asked what he would do if he was PM.
Adebayor, who scored 30 goals in 48 games last season, only signed his previous contract in the summer of 2007 but negotiated an improved deal just weeks ago.
“I would try and keep down the tax. In London I would like to change the congestion charge.” revealed Ade
Ade is a Togo international and joined Arsenal from French side Monaco in January 2006 for £3m.
