Kyiv Boss Scouts Arsenal Ahead Of Wednesday's CL Match

Dynamo Kyiv boss Yuri Semin already has a fair knowledge of his Champions League opponents, Arsenal, but it has most likely been broadended after the experienced Soviet-born coach travelled 1340 miles to watch Arsene Wenger’s side thrash Blackburn 4-0 on Saturday.

Semin was accompanied by assistant manager Valeri Zuyev while the Gunners triumphed against Paul Ince’s side.

Ukrainian Premier League runners-up of last season Kyiv, were in action last week and showed their true quality by hitting Olkom for five in the Ukrainian Cup – with former Gunner Oleg Luzhny taking charge of the game.

The 40-year-old former Highbury defender earned over 70 caps whilst at the club and will be looking forward to renewing acquaintances with some old pals in Ukraine this Wednesday.

Gooner Talk will bring you all the build-up towards Arsenal’s group stage tie with all the latest news, views and opinions on the game – so stay tuned.
