Nasri Still Out, Vela Back In
Arsenal midfield maestro Samir Nasri has been ommitted from Arsene Wenger’s 18-man squad for the trip to Dynamo Kiev tomorrow night through injury.
The French star has failed to recover from his knee injury in time and has been left at home.
Youngster Jack Wilshere, who made his debut for the club in the Gunners’ 4-0 win over Blackburn on Saturday, has been included in his place, while forward Carlos Vela has also made the squad and could fit in on the left of midfield after impressing in that position during his loan spells with Spanish teams Salamanca and Osasuna.
Emmanuel Eboue has been deemed fit enough to play and is included while Aaron Ramsey – who set up Emmanuel Adebayor for his hat-trick at the weekend – also gets the nod along with Alex Song and Gael Clichy, who had also been struggling with a knock.

I think Vela might start on the left wing instead of Walcott who has been playing a lot recently, won't be surprised to see Bendtner come in place of van Persie too. I have a feeling it will be –

+i seriously cant believe some fans are saying Bendtner will start tomorrows game i think u guys may have had a bit to much to drink tonight Bendtner has got to be the worst striker at our club since France's jeffers in my opinion i think he is saw crap the boy hasn't got any thing to his game apart from a OK first touch and i dont want to here any other gooner say that hes still young. like Ive said a million times Rooney was far better at sixteen i really do wonder how he gets in are squad honestly i really do think he is that bad. he even make his striking partner look bad he cant even play with any of our strikers he had one good game with Carlos Vela in pre season apart from that the boy is absolutely atrotious.

It is totally unjustified. Bendtner formed a great partnership with Eduardo last season, they had a nice understanding together and played in most of the cup games together. And more recently with Vela Although it was only pre-season they were fantastic, playing neat 1-2's and scored a few each. Plus this is only Bendtners 2nd season in the top flight and he starts for his country. So far this term he has only played with Adebayor and we all know the history there but he hasnt played with RVP.
Anyway, onto the Kiev match, Wenger has said he will take a draw which shows how difficult he thinks it will be. But hopefully our superior quality will get us off to a flyer and get the team some more confidence ahead of the trip to the Reebok. I saw them squeeze past Droheda so im going for a 1-0 win for the Gunners.

You are actually thick! Who have you seen Bendtner play with? He was great with Eduardo, is great whenever he plays with Vela and has not really played with RVP (I think). Adebayor is the only other striker he has actually started with so how can you judge his purely on those particular performances. You can't – exactly.
He is our 2nd best finisher behind Eduardo and is great when he is on his game. He is still only young. So what is rooney was better when he was young- different players have differently timed career peaks. Next you will probably say you are Eboue's biggest fan, it certainly wouldn't suprise me.

James, its actually amazing how incredibly thick you are. Eboue should be (at best) our back-up for Sagna but why am i telling you. 1: you prob wont understand, 2: if, by chance, you did then so what- you have faith.
Anyway, you're probably right. No goals or assists in the entirety of last season and 1 assist so far this completely justifies his place in the team.
In the comparisons debate-
Eboue is not stronger than Bendtner, his movement is horrible and he is all round annoying. He blatantly dove to win a pen on sat and to make things worse he was stretchered off for no apparent reason. Either he hurt himself while diving(which would be brilliant) or he wanted to pretend he was injured so he wouldn't get booed for diving. Either way he cheated.
Oh and 2 things:
* Van Persie isnt a natural finisher, Bendtner is,

We shud rest some of defenders (they played two matches for france). I wud put fabregas on the right to allow Eboue to play RB.
