Bendtner Doubtful For Denmark U21 Game
Nicklas Bendtner has been added to the growing list of injured Arsenal players after the Danish marksman sustained an ankle injury whilst on International duty.
The 20-year-old was handed a place in Keld Bordinggaard’s Denmark’s Under 21 side for their vital U21 European Championship play-off game against Serbia next Wednesday. It appears that the Danes will have to do without Nicklas though, after he was seen with an icepack attached to his ankle following Denmark’s World Cup Qualifying win over Malta.
Copenhagen-born striker Bendtner is the third Gunners star to have sustained an injury on International duty with William Gallas and Robin van Persie both missing out for their respective countries World Cup Qualifiers.

How was Bendtner seen after the Malta game with ice on his ankle, he wasn’t even on the subs bench for the match?? Did he get injured in the warm up, training in previous days, or is the injury just a rumour because he wasn’t named in the squad and the rumour starter didn’t realise it was because he’s been moved to the U21s??
He was with the senior squad last night watching on.
He presented a cheque at half time and was seen with an ice pack strapped to his ankle.

Its a real shame if he is actually injured. Taking that into account and that Ade scored 4 against a piss easy team yestersay i cant ever see Ade being dropped.
Bendtner is our on-form striker but never seems to get a run of games, not too dis-similar to Phil.
Don’t be surprised Vela doesn’t play as he is coming back from Americas. Djourou is also out for the swiss and may not make it meaning silvestre may play.
Diaby and Bischoff could be in contentiaon from the bench. I expect Wenger to play 3 main midfield.
