Arsenal 0-2 Aston Villa
Aston Villa struck twice in the last 20 minutes to seal a deserved win and dent Arsenal’s Premier League title hopes.
Gael Clichy headed Ashley Young’s cross into his own net after 70 minutes and Gabriel Agbonlahor raced clear to add a second 10 minutes later.
Young had seen a penalty saved by Manuel Almunia in the first half as Villa produced an outstanding display.
Brad Friedel saved well from Cesc Fabregas in the first half and Emmanuel Adebayor hit a post late on.
There is no excuse this performance was terrible Dennison and Cesc do not compliment each other, we need a midfield player who enjoys defending (DM)this will let Cesc shine, can nobody else see this?
we need COCQUELIN to be pushed into the 1st team!
A fully-developed Coquelin would be awesome to have. He still has a couple of years to develop in the Reserves before pushing through into the first team.
Arsenal is now closer in points to the relagation zone than to the top team.
So the game against ManU was the odd one out and we have an average Arsenal team this season, fighting for the best of the rest award.
I wonder who Wenger is going to replace Cesc with next season…
BTW, watching the young guns in the last Carling Cup game was the most fun I had this season, by far.
Our kids plays better than this overated guys we have tbh!
Clichy’s own goal sums that he is just an overated player, how many more mistakes is he going to do??!
Title this year – all a dream that will never come true if Wenger doesn’t change.
Bendner – whatever shit name he have, is by no standard an Arsenal player, his touches and passing was shit!
Title hopes are gone, I really hope that we win the CL at least to make it a great season, or else Cesc will leave with some other players and no one will want to come besides youngsters.
Why Wenger didn’t start Vela and sticked with Diaby???!
A well deserved win for Villa and they was better all over the park. No idea what will be Wenger’s excuse this time..before anyone lashes out at me, get urself a reality check please. We want trophies, not only some beautiful football, which was not the case today…and how can we say Arsenal play beautiful football when losing?
Why don’t all of you slaggers p!ss off to White Hart Lane. You think we have a divine right to win every game ‘cos you’ve been spoilt by years of great football and success. If you can’t be patient then do one. We don’t need you!
fabregas and bedtner are shit!!!
they have very2 bad game game tonight espcially fabregas..
i dont know what happen to cecs..
i think wenger should allow him to go to barcelona..
Do us a favour and rewind all the way back to Wednesday. This one’s way too painful
hahaha, I wish. 🙁 😉
Why should we not complain, you yid!
If Manure,Chelshki&Scousers can perform consistantly why can’t we? kids or not Wenger chooses the team from the squad he manages and has put together there’s no excuses.
BENDER’s absolute shite. Seriously i’m sure that he can do well in Italy or France but he’s definately not EPL standard.
WENGER cocked up today, this was his chance to give JAY SIMPSON a well deserved run out to see if he is up to it….he reminds me of IANWRIGHTcrossSLYVIAN WILTURD. a bit.
Right now the CARLING CUP looks like our best chance of Silverware and then the CL and may be FA cup…..Forget the league……
I’m with you Reg. Some supporters just don’t know how good we have it and can’t remember pre GG.
Maybe some good will come of this, i.e. the plastic johnny-come-latelies will bugger off and free up some space for the real supporters.
WHY ARE MAN U AND CHELSEA’S REJECTS OUR BEST CENTER BACKS???
GALLAS AND BENDTNAR ARE USELESS,THE SQUAD IS RUBBISH, FLAMINI HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED,WHERE IS THE MONEY?????????I’D RATHER BE AT HIGHBURY WITH A GREAT SQUAD THAN AT THE EMIRATES- LOOK AT MILLWALL.
I THINK WENGERS HANDS ARE TIED.LET US BE IN DEBT LIKE CHELSEA, AT LEAST WE’D HAVE A FEW LEAGUE TITLES TO GO WITH IT.
