Team News: Big Guns Back For 'Boro Tie
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has welcomed back five of his senior stars into the Gunners line-up for this afternoon’s Premier League game against Middlesbrough.
After the midweek Champions League defeat to Porto, fullbacks Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy return. Cesc Fabregas, Emmanuel Adebayor and Robin van Persie also make their comeback since sustaining slight niggles in training.
Ivorian scapegoat Emmanuel Eboue is dropped to the bench because of Sagna’s return into the starting XI while Johan Djourou, Denilson, Alex Song and Abou Diaby all keep their places.
As for Boro, former Gunner Jeremie Aliadiere gets a start upfront for the Teesiders. There’s no place for another ex-player in Justin Hoyte though, the young defender injured himself in training a couple of days ago.

3 of the 4 midfielders that play in that awful performance in midweek are in again today, just watch..there will be a complete lack of creativity on the wings and we will have to rely on little cesc and RVP to win us this game
How can Wenger say that he will do anything for the 3 points today and still play that awful twat Diaby? He is not a DM, he is not a winger and he is nowhere close good enough AM to even replace Fabregas when he is out injured. Get rid of him and put Vela in, for god sake. If we sub three then I hope Vela, Wilshere and Ramsey/Bendtner get the chance. I’m thinking it will be more of Eboue first, Bendtner in late and then Silvestre in midfield or something.
Please give wilshire a chance 2day at least 20 minutes & vela if we lack creativity please sir wenger!

Chris,Clichy and Sagna also did not play in that game. Now they are back, they will give us more width.

Pathetic, to many average players in the midfield, how many times song gave the ball away or played a sloppy pass i lost count of, denilson shouldnt be on the wing, diaby should have started right sided, vela left. denilson and fab in the middle, i cant wait until January.
