Inler interest faded in August, says Wenger
Arsene Wenger admits that he was keeping tabs on Udinese midfielder Gokhan Inler last summer, but has today ruled out signing the combative star after constant speculation linking the 24-year-old with the Gunners.
Gooner Talk were the first to reveal Arsenal’s interest in the defence-minded starlet. Inler was on the verge of signing for the north London giants before being persuaded to sign a brand-new contract at the Italian minnows.
Wenger, speaking after the FA Cup win over Plymouth, said:
“Yes, in the summer,” he replied. “But not any more.”

Is there a Walcott situation? I thought is was the usual bollocks from papers that need to make up stories because there is no real news at the moment?
Yea Timus, I think that too. The papers will create any nonsense to draw headline, like when clichy was apparently “interested” in joining Roma, but in actual fact he signed a new contract that day.

Never go to Sport.co.uk. It has the worst rumours especially that quote above which is from the summer.
Regarding the mirror link it seems someone again is trying to put two and two together to try and make four. It’s just speculation.
At the moment it seems Wenger has identified some players but it is a matter of time till someone comes in. We may just see one transfer.
It may be Arshavin and if he does come I think he may be sold for less than the £18-20m quoted. Especially if there are no more potential suitors. Patience.

wenger start slowly to say that he will by arshavin today in his interview on arsenal.com said that he will by special class despite players who can’t register for CL so he us hinting on arshavin.

Interesting, Lets hope that Arshavin joins, so hopefully it will lift the spirit and confidence in the dressing room, and hopefully get back to seeing the real Arsenal with, quick 1 touch football, Counter attacking.
