Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has been given a starting berth in tomorrow’s FA Youth Cup fourth round tie against Wolves, Gooner Talk understands.
The 17-year-old flamboyant star recently signed a professional contract with the club, and despite being promoted to the first team squad in August, Jack will now get his chance to shine in the competition which has turbo-started many young Gunners’ careers.
Coach Steve Bould’s starting line-up is as follows:
Eastmond – Bartley – Ayling – Cruise
Coquelin – Frimpong
Lansbury – Wilshere – E-Thomas
Subs: Mann (GK), Evina, Blackwood, Watt, Sunu
As usual, you can catch all the pre-match and post-match action over at our good friends Young Guns.
With thanks to Thomas from Arsenal Academy.
is it been shown anywhere. arsenal TV/sky/setanta
No, not from what I’ve seen unfortunately.
ah well, fair enough said she.
It might get streamed if we’re lucky or might be on Arsenal TV Online, haven’t checked yet though.
The more experience Wilshere gets, the better. You would think that he would dominate in this tournament. let’s hope he can bring us home the trophy so we can have at east some silverware this season
why should sign Gourcuff!! Look at this vid!
Wow, that’s a very much of a surprise. Now we will only be lacking Ramsey of the eligible players. If we lose with this midfield we are doomed. Our back line isn’t the strongest but apart from that we got internationals in every position.
interesting news. But is is true or just a speculation?
I think speculation to make preasure on Arsenal
