Arsenal on the verge of Pole-partnership

Wenger

Arsenal are set to join up with Polish side Slask Wroclaw in what looks like a potential feeder-club deal.

According to Wroclaw boss, Ryszard Tarasiewicz, the Gunners have made arrangements for scout Gilles Grimandi to analyse and look over some of Wroclaw’s hot-prospects.

“In the coming weeks, Gilles Grimandi, an Arsenal official, will fly to Wroclaw to scout our current batch of players,” he told Pilkanozna. “I have already named him a few of our players who I believe have the potential to play one day for The Gunners.

“We talked [him and Wenger] for more than an hour but I cannot disclose all the details.”

This could signal a partnership similar to that of the one the north London giants had with KSK Beveren and currently have with Spanish minnows UD Salamanca.

Whatever does happen, the outcome will certainly benefit Arsenal and give the club extra exposure in an area which is renowned for it’s football die-hard’s.
