Denilson returns from injury to replace Song, while Mikael Silvestre is in for Campbell. Andrey Arshavin and Abou Diaby return from knocks but are only fit enough for places on the bench, while Samir Nasri and Tomas Rosicky form an exciting left sided partnership. In form Nicklas Bendtner leads the line.

Eboue – Vermaelen – Silvestre – Clichy
Fabregas (c) – Denilson – Nasri

lol, Give him a break
i think diaby should start da gme. burnley hve gt a physical presence in midfield which diaby can deal wiv
Common NickyB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Fabregas has been taken off for an injury, hamstring apparently! I’d guess 3 weeks out if its a strain. Let’s hope its just a precaution.
how many chances does that tool Bendtner need to score god damnit!!!!
i am sooo disapointed with walcott. he is careless and negative
This just proves we still need a striker, A CLINICAL ONE.
we’re playing well…just need a bit more urgency…i think it’s more of a precaution that they’ve taken off cesc..he should be ok for porto
my guess is that fabregas went off as a precaution as he was feeling it before he scored…. bendy should have scored atleast 2 and nasri having a blinder 😀 3-1 my prediction
wilshere scored for bolton
we should’ve let denilson go on loan instead of wilshere
no one knows if he injured or not, we could just be saving him for the next game, 1-0 up against a shit side so we could be resting him
Nasri is movind around so well as is rosicky who looks like hes back to his best. I can see Bentdner and Arshavin scoring. hope fabregas is alright.
Fabregas apparently has a sore knee? which sounds like the wimpiest injury possible
Jesus Bentner should of scored two now. whats up with him?
Bendtner can’t finish a cup of tea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fuk sake bendy put the game to bed oh my days!!!!
F*ck it all!!!!!!!! F*ck Bendtner
Can’t we just sub Bendtner. He is disgraceful… I mean he is paid to score goals and u miss those chances. That’s not even funny man
We know how Bendtner is…it could say “unpredictable”?…I’ve said that before…I don’t like B-52, I hope Arshavin comes in NOW. We have lost 5 goals at least…
Its nto Bendtner day today for sure lol! horrible miss
Not since CSKA Moscow in the CL in 2006 I think it was have I seen us miss this much
LOOL bendtner ! master of missing chances!
Finally!! We are seeing the best of walcott.
yeah true.. I’ve missed Walcott with confidence..
Nice touch to give Nicky B a standing ovation 🙂 Hope he earns it against Porto
we shouldnt mock bendtner like we do! he is having a bad game and missing his chances but i do recall bendtner scoring decisive first goals against sunderland and stoke so how about we shut up and hope he gets on the scoresheet tuesday!
yeaaaah!!!!! we are the f**n best!!
Nic B the new Barndoor!
10 chances to score… Prolific.
Although NB52 was frustrating by missing those chances at least he was always in the right areas. I think he makes it hard for himself because of the way he talks about his ability…If you do that you have to back it up but i am backing him to get on the scoresheet against porto.Today just wasnt his day…
As for Theo he was absolutely immense i really hope capello watches todays game because theos wingplay was superb and wan*ers like chris waddle can do 1. He had a point to prove today and he done it emphatically!! Up the arsenal and up theo!!
International footy has drained Bentner, give him a break.
FINALLY some passion frm Theo, well done EBOUE.
nikki b had an off day…but lets not write him off completely…i was glad to see that he got an applause rather than getting booed..he will come back strong
theo was just sensational
good old theo is coming back!
lay off Bendtner. Sometimes it’s just not his day. I remember a similar game last season where he got tons of chances as easy as these. It’s probably a mental block. If he had scored in the first half he would have had a hat trick. Great player and the team is much better after he returned. Not the greatest of games but Nasri and Walcott were world class.
Sylvestre is terrible, just horrible player. Clichy, I though, also had a bad game, often on the wrong side of players. If it hadn’t been for Vermaelen I don’t wanna know how our defence would have looked like. Denilson as well, bad game. Those three and obviously Nicky B were bad but we still won (rather) easily.
Fortunately for us, Burnley isn’t an attacking team, or better said, they don’t have attacking players, but today was precisely Vermaelen who lost Nugent at Burnley goal, and all our defence was very unconsistent today, but, compared with notorious mistakes of Clichy, Eboue and specially Silvestre, TV5 is our best defender so far, although he has to play at right back instead his natural left back. And aditionally he scores and tries to go forward, it’s clear that we need Gallas & Sagna back soon and I hope that Cesc & Song will be able to play CL game.
