van Persie included in squad to face Spurs
After almost 6 months out of action, Arsenal forward Robin van Persie has been included in the Gunners squad set to face Tottenham tomorrow evening, Arsene Wenger has confirmed.
The experienced Dutch frontman suffered ankle ligament damage after 10 minutes of an international friendly match with Italy in November. However, the 26-year-old recently returned to full training where Wenger feels he is physically fit to take part in tomorrow’s clash.
“Physically he is ready, he is fit, it may be a bit premature for him to start though. He will feature. He lacks a bit of match practice but when I pick a player it means he’s fit and sharp.
“There’s always a gamble in such decisions but we have been a bit cautious in his case.
“But Van Persie is a very important player at this club. He is important for the confidence. The good thing about him in training is that it looks as if he’s never been away.”

probably wont play unless we are desperate..! He is also very slow to get back into things after injuries…. but hes a GENIUS!!!
Hell Yeah, sadly it does show on the table he’s been out, but I’m sure Bolton can take a point at the Bridge

Van ‘DaMan’ Persie is back. Good news for the team. This should be a pick me up from the defeat to Barca. Van Persie back would only improve Bendtner. Bendtner is going to fell the pressure and this should hopefully spur him on

I think RVP may start tomorrow wenger said that he looks like he was never out of the game and he is 100% fit he just lack playing games.

Wats funny is how them Mancs always rubbish our loses to injuries as mere excuses; how ironic that it’s them who are in this position and they expect me to understand. Rooney’s only missed two or three matches and they cant win, RVP’s been gone almost the whole campaign and we are still in contention. I hope we win tomorrow and sit on their faces(and not for hours or day, till the season ends) We sure hope RVP will bring something on the table now that Cesc is out. Welcome back main man, win us the title, it yous for the taking.

wenger won’t spend a bit of that £45mil. we have a strong enough squad, we have done very well this season and with a few less injuries next season we will win the thing.
I didn’t just say wenger to spend it but you know that we need quality goalkeeper we need to buy Loris,or Frey and we need one CB if gallas stays or if he leaves we need to CB two quality CB silvestre will be out so as senderos and Campbell.So i strongly believe that wenger will buy GK and CB’s.The others areas are fine with Chamakh comming.
I hope that people don’t expect so much from RvP, because he has trained too few for a complete game, he is still recovering and surely Arsene will include him as a sub. I’m very happy for our team, because with RvP we are more chances of scoring in every game, although there are 5 games only to finish this season.
