Joe Cole set to join Liverpool on a free transfer
Reported Arsenal target Joe Cole is on the verge of completing a free transfer to Liverpool, with bookies across the UK suspending bets on him joining the Reds.
Cole, 28, has been the subject of transfer speculationĀ from a whole host of clubs since the England ace was released by Chelsea at the end of June.
New Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson is said to be looking for Yossi Benayoun’s replacement after the Israeli star joined Carlo Ancelotti’s side last month.
England international Cole is now out to 7/4 (from 6/4) to team up with Tottenham and 9/4 to join Arsenal after support for a move to the Emirates faded last weekend.

We don’t need him, not with his wages, and he’s injury-prone.
To be honest, i’m not too bothered. It would’ve have been a good addition to the squad, but not a neccessary one.
After today, it looks like we have Wilshere, Rosicky, Nasri, Arshavin, Ramsey, Fabregas, even Diaby who can play this role.
I want to see a keeper, and a defender come in. If Sol signs I think I’ll be happy. In terms of a keeper, I like the Schwarzer idea. A safe pair of hands.
I’ve got a fantastic feeling about this season, once all the Barcelona bullshit has cleared, Cesc will be just as devoted as ever and we can stride forward with him, RVP, Song, Vermaelen, Chamakh, Arshavin, leading the way.
Plus, little Jack must be in the first team. This is his year! Come on you reds.

arsenal should go and buy him , he should go to a london club like tottemlam and arsenal , arsenal would like him and we might need him if 2 people are on a intrey and that , so arsenal should go and buy cole and another defender , but it would be alright if gallas and campbell signs , wenger should let campbell have a another year or 2 years because he can still play football like the other defeners , sign him up š

Dont know about you lot… but i’d have Joe Cole on a Free. Still think its rubbish he is joining Liverpool. If Arsene doesnt sign, then i think he could go for Assulin or Afellay as another creative midfielder.
