Mark Randall joins Rotherham on loan

Arsenal youngster Mark Randall will hope to try and resurrect his Gunners’ career after agreeing to join League 2 side Rotherham United on a 3-month loan deal

Randall has previously enjoyed a loan spell at Burnley in 2008 and MK Dons last season. However, the emergence of players such as Henri Lansbury and Jay-Emmanuel Thomas has meant that Randall has been unable to break into the Arsenal first team.

“It is a done deal and he will be here on Monday,” said Millers’ boss Ronnie Moore.

“It is fantastic for the club that Arsenal have allowed a player to come out who has played 13 first team games. He will train on Monday and be in contention to play for us in the game at Southend next weekend.”
