RvP is back!
Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has been included in today’s squad to face Newcastle, according to Mirror Football.
Vice-captain van Persie took part in his first full training session yesterday since injuring his ankle against Blackburn Rovers in August and is a surprise inclusion for the Premier League clash at Emirates Stadium later this afternoon.
The Gunners also have skipper Cesc Fabregas available again after the Spain midfielder did not travel to Shakhtar Donetsk because of a slight hamstring strain, while Andrey Arshavin (virus) and Alex Song (calf) are welcome back into the squad.

I wonder if RvP would chance tomorrow. With him on bench, I think Theo would start. I wonder if AW would rest cesc, or bring him off the bench and play if safe since we have options to work with.

isn’t it a bit too soon for a player who has been out since august? Who has just completed 1 training session to be included in today’s match? I’de rather we don’t rush him, maybe bring him on as a sub in the everton game bt definatly not in today’s match because its way too soon.

There is no way he is back in the squad because think about what wenger has been saying recently that the holland manager has no common sence if he is in the squad for the 17th! So why would he put him in the squad today

Thank God for Robin Van Persie with hope and believe he will be well to the end of the session. I see RVP scoring up to 20 goals this session. The league trophy is not far from the gunners.
Szczesny twittered “I’m hoping for a repeat of Carling Cup game tonight.” Apart from the game being played at 13:30 🙂 is there a chance he’ll start 😀 If he is, I’m hoping this will be one of the strongest squads we had in a long, long time.
