Sagna misses next three games as Arsenal decide against appeal

Bacary Sagna will miss Arsenal’s next three matches after the Gunners’ decided against appealing the Frenchman’s red card against Manchester City.
The Frenchman was shown red in the closing stages of Wednesday’s clash after squaring up to Pablo Zabaleta and making contact with his head.
Arsenal’s decision to not appeal means Sagna will not be involved in the games against Leeds United (FA Cup), Ipswich Town (Carling Cup) and West Ham (Premier League).
“I have seen it again and there is no way we can appeal,” Arsene Wenger told TV Online on Thursday lunchtime.
“For me it is a red card and we have to accept it. Bacary lost his temper and had too strong a reaction. He acknowledges that he should have kept control. We will not appeal.”

did city lose thier appeal to?
He needs a rest anyway.
It’s going to be interesting to see how Eboue performs, as without Nordtveit, he’s our only remaining RB.
How many red cards have we had so far this season? Five? Well, either we’re getting frustrated to hell, or we’ve gone feral – big time.
Year after year we won the PL fair play award without any recognition, so maybe it’s not such a bad thing we’re giving as good as we get.
Last in the fair play table, but top of the league has that nice ironic lilt about it.
i like the rougher arsenal of 2010-2011 thats what the premier league needs lol i dont know what happed with nordtevit he was a really good prospect
he’s not going to miss much is he. Eboue should be ok, and Bac gets a well deserved rest…perfect really
well arsenal shouldnt appeal, coz what sagna did was a disgrace really
