Wenger will try to make Hazard's "dreams come true"
Lille’s attacking midfield star Eden Hazard has reiterated his “dream” of signing for Arsenal, with Arsene Wenger looking to make the starlet’s dream come true in the summer.
The Arsenal manager’s main priority for the January transfer window is to bring in a defender if Thomas Vermaelen continues to struggle for fitness, but he plans to give serious consideration to a move for Hazard in the summer.
Hazard, dubbed “little Messi” by former coach Claude Puel, has indicated he would like to join Arsenal when he eventually leaves Lille and Wenger has now confirmed he is interested in the Belgium international.
“It’s a very good question. We follow him. And personally I think he’s a real talent, and he’s good enough to play for Arsenal, yes.
“In the offensive department we have many players. At the end of the season we’ll have a look at the situation but at the moment it’s completely ruled out”, Wenger said after being asked about Hazard by a French reporter.
The same journalist then said he met Hazard yesterday, and revealed that the 20-year-old told him that he “dreams to play for Arsenal”.
“It’s important for your dreams to come true,” Wenger replied.

Yeah, that’s what I think. The first set of quotes are genuine, but Wenger saying he would make his dreams come true sounds too absurd. Almost a homo-erotic subtext.

Aonther player in the mould of Fabregas, Wilshere, Nasri. How nice would it be to add Hazard to that collection. There are not many players that would provoke my reaction at the prospect of signing for Arsenal. Hazard is not a player that could end up becoming an average player. He will be as important and impactful as Fabregas, Wilshere, Nasri and Ramsey. Adding Hazard to that list would be FANTASTIC going into the future. Add Miyaichi into the mix and it’s orgazmic!
After todays game. Bendtner, denilson and arse-sharvin should never play for arsenal again.
Not seeing the game I can`t comment on whether or not Bendtner, Denilson and Arshavin should play for Arsenal again but ,from what I`ve seen of them over the passed two seasons, I question how they came to be there in the first place.
Wenger’s hesitations have cost us players like Drogba, Ronaldo, Cech to name just a few. Is this the next on the line? Get rid of the likes of Arshavin and grab this guy quick before your usual language “I should have” Prof please act as a prof. Look at how Fegie does his business for a change. It’s such a shame, Arshavin is such a great player, the other two…not so much. All inconsistent/lazy players should leave, we don’t have the luxury of being able to carry them in the squad/team.

We shouldn’t buy him, he clearly likes to run at defences at pace before cutting inside for a telling finish or final ball. This is not the arsenal way, we need another centre midfielder converted to play out wide, who always drifts in and will accept the pass it through the middle continuosly mentality that produces such wonderful football. 🙂
