Rosicky close to finalising contract extension
Tomas Rosicky is on the verge of agreeing a two-year contract extension at Arsenal, with official confirmation of the deal expected within the next week.
The 31-year-old midfielder has received praise from manager Arsene Wenger and skipper Robin van Persie for his influence on their form turnaround in recent weeks.
Rosicky arrived at Emirates Stadium in 2006 from Borussia Dortmund and his impressive form has seen him rewarded with a two-year extension to his current deal.
“We met with Arsène Wenger, the new contract terms are negotiated, but we are not revealing anymore information”, Rosicky’s agent Pavel Paska said.

Rosiscky is the best attacking midfielder in Arsenal now.
He’s such a fake. So he only performs when he’s needs a new contract extension. He does nothing for years then surprise surprise his good form coincides with his new contract.
And just in time for the euro’s. I remember him being signed to Arsenal and he unleashed a lazer of a shot while playing for his home country. It was outside the box and nearly tore the net off. Hopefully he regains his confidence to do that again, but for Arsenal!
Why does he deserve anything he gets paid very handsomely been injured after every game plyed about half a season of 5 years? He’s playing for a contract 2 good games don’t make you a. Great player LAZY and casual but can rarely be brilliant we have to many like him we need consistency
It will be good for arsenal and the footy man to extend his contract. Rosicky experience can’t be erase in the midfield.

Am disapointed with those who said he’s only performing bc he needs a new contract, will he play with injury? When he is fit the stupid Wenger rather choose his boy Ramshit, so what do you expect him to do? Let me tell you guyz what you don’t know’ Rosicky is the best attacking midfielder we have.

Obigunners4real has said it all, arsenal can only get better if wenger get rid of these surplus to requirement players: Djourou, Chamakh, Squillaci, Almunia, Ramsey & Arshavin. They are liabilities to arsenal fc
