Diaby ruled out for three weeks
|Abou Diaby has been ruled out for ‘at least three weeks’ after he sustained a thigh muscle strain in the 2-1 defeat against Chelsea earlier this afternoon.
Diaby, 26, was substituted on 17 minutes when he suffered his injury, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain coming on for the injury-prone French international.
Arsenal ultimately went onto lose the game 2-1 after Juan Mata’s deflect free-kick cancelled out Gervinho’s equaliser just before half-time
Meanwhile, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is likely to hand Francis Coquelin a start in the Champions League against Greek champions Olympiakos next week following Diaby’s injury blow.

We can’t go on like this with Diaby as he’s just so unlucky and one can’t rely on him from match to match.
he’s made of glass, so fragile that he better stay home & watch football games instead of playing a football game.
Now everyone remind me of why you did not like Alex Song, undisciplined, whatever. We let him go for nothing and he was one of our two best last year. The other best is shooting for ManU , so that said. I really think Wenger shoujld not have left Per out today. I like the idea of Kos playing with Vermaelen, because they both have pace, but Per has been the Boss back there, and was missed today. Ox looked out of place in the second half, and we got outplayed in the midfield. We will be better as the year goes on, but this one was there for us today.
