Manchester United winger NOT pictured at Arsenal's training ground

Manchester United winger Nani was NOT pictured at Arsenal’s training ground on Sunday afternoon, contrary to certain reports.

The Portuguese winger has been touted as a replacement for contract rebel Theo Walcott, with Gunners’ boss Arsene Wenger considering making a £20 million approach for the skilful 26-year-old according to The Daily Mail.

Former Sporting Lisbon star Nani surprisingly decided against attending United’s 3-2 win over rivals Manchester City at the weekend after he was ruled out of the game through injury.

Nani was pictured at Arsenal’s old London Colney training ground on Sunday – which is now used by Championship side Watford, prompting rumours that a move to Emirates Stadium could be on the cards.

However, Nani was actually a guest at Colney for a Stevenage FC programme, where he later travelled to Hyde Park for the Winter Wonderland fair in Central London.

Arsene Wenger is keen to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window and has already set his eyes on Montpellier defender Mapou Yanga-Mbwia, former skipper Thierry Henry and Stoke goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
