Arsenal chairman dismisses Wenger to PSG reports as 'nonsense'
|The Frenchman is said to be at the top of Paris Saint-Germain’s managerial wish list to replace Carlo Ancelotti, with French daily Le Parisien claiming that Wenger will meet with PSG’s owners as early as next week.
Wenger is renowned across the football world for honouring his contracts and his current deal at Emirates Stadium doesn’t expire until the summer of next year.
“I think this [PSG report] is complete nonsense – in fact, I know it is complete nonsense”, Hill-Wood told the Daily Star.

So we’re stuck with the looser! #8yrsNoTrophy #Mediocrity #NoAmbitions
I hope that Wenger goes in the summer. He only has one year left on his contract. There is talk that Arsenal will have a lot of money to spend in the off season and it makes sense for a new manager to come in and buy the players he wants, rather than Wenger spend the money now and a new manager takes over the following year, inheriting all of the Wenger signings.
For all he has done for the club, for the iconic character he has become, for the fantastic results he can bring out of a squad which really isn’t top class, I hope he stays! The problem isn’t AW, it’s Croenke. Please, Usmanow, buy him out, no matter the prize!
BTW, does anyone know of a site which focus getting Croenke out?
What Arsenal needs most is the changes in the board and to include Usmanov so that his ideas can be given a chance to be voted on. Wenger will definitely stay if he sees there is serious investment in players and make the team more competitive so that his reputation will not be destroyed.
@goonerbone: Kroenke is our biggest problem. After purchasing the majority shares of Arsenal, he never invested anything in the club like what Usmanov is planning to do or what the other investors in Chelsea and Man City did. Wenger is not a problem and we should be grateful that we have him.
Only a simple minded moron would want to get rid of wenger now we’re becoming less restricted financially!
Kroenke is like the Fox in the henhouse. He will not leave, as he thinks he will pass the club to one of his sons. He owns the St. Louis Rams, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalance..All of these clubs lose their players as they mature becaues he will not pay Let see if he has changed as the Rams have the nucleous of a good team, and so do the Nuggets. The Nuggets like ARsenal make do with one star, average palyers and a very good coach.
