Arsenal begin 2013/14 season against Aston Villa
Arsenal’s first Premier League game of the 2013/14 season will be at home against Aston Villa, it has been confirmed.
Arsene Wenger’s side first six games include a North London derby match against Tottenham after earlier rumoured fixture leaks were proved wrong.
First six fixtures: Aston Villa, Fulham, Spurs, Sunderland, Stoke Swansea.

We have the toughest run-in I can remember, playing our top six anticipated opponents over a 9 match sequence: Liverpool(A), Man Utd(H), Sp*rs(A), Chelsea(H), City(A) and Everton(A) – from early February, when hopefully, we’ll also be involved in the knock-out phase of the ECL.
