Arsene Wenger confirms that he's staying at Arsenal
|Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he will be staying at the club.
The Frenchman has yet to sign a two-year contract extension but revealed after the 1-0 win over West Brom that he would be continuing his tenure at Emirates Stadium.
64-year-old Wenger had previously indicated that he would assess his own performance before deciding to continue at the Emirates.
Having made it to the FA Cup final and secured Champions League qualification, it appears that he has now made a final decision on his future
“I don’t know [when I will sign a new deal]”, said Wenger.
“I told you many times that my word is my word. I am from a period where you did not need a pen to commit.
“It is not linked [with the FA Cup final] at all. It was important to be in the Champions League, that is for sure. I have told you many times it is not linked the fact I feel I am useful.”
