Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has rubbished rumours linking him with a move away from the club, and insists he is wants to stay at Emirates Stadium for ‘a few years’.
The Spain international Cazorla has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid and previously admitted he had spoken to his Spain team-mates about what life was like there.
However, he admitted at Arsenal’s new PUMA kit launch that he is happy to stay at the Emirates, where he has another two years remaining on his contract since joining from Malaga two years ago.
“I’m happy here”, said Cazorla.
“I want to play for Arsenal for a few more years. Next year I play for Arsenal, of course.
“I always try to give my best on and off the pitch. I’m a happy guy, I’m a funny guy. I try to bring a good mood into the changing rooms on and off the pitch and that is what I will continue to do this year.”
