Arsenal are among several European sides keeping tabs on highly-rated Turkish goalkeeper Numan Bostan, according to the player’s agent.
The 16-year-old shot stopper plays in France for Toulouse and his excellent form saw him rewarded with a call-up to the French U-17 national team.
Bostan, who is eligible to represent both France and Turkey, was scouted by Arsenal’s France-based scout Giles Grimandi last season.
“I am always on the look out for new players,” Bostan’s agent Murat Ardıçlık said.
“One day I went to watch Malesherbes play and kept being told there was an impressive Turkish player, that is when I first met Numan.
“He was clearly a cut above everybody else and ever since joining Toulouse he has been constantly scouted by the likes of Arsenal, PSG, Lyon, Rennes, Bordeaux, Marseille.”
