Ian Wright gives Arsenal fans another reason to love him even more

Tottenham youngster Dele Alli made his debut for England on Thursday night and Arsenal legend Ian Wright revealed how happy he was for the 19-year-old.

Alli signed for Spurs in the final few hours of the mid-season transfer window and earned his call-up following a succession of impressive performances for the north London rivals.

Speaking after England’s comprehensive Euro 2016 qualifying win over Estonia, Wright said he was delighted that Alli made his England debut and believes his former club MK Dons will share that happiness.

However, as reported by Sport Witness, Wright made no reference to Spurs in his praise of Alli despite the midfielder getting his England chance through his dominant midfield performances for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

“I’m delighted for him, and I’m delighted for MK Dons,” said Wright.

The reason he’s delighted for MKDons is becasue by laying for England – MKDons just bagged another £1.2m as per terms of the agreement with Spurs.
