Arsenal ‘join the race’ for Chelsea & Spurs centre forward target
|Arsenal have joined the race to sign Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur centre forward target Moussa Dembele, who currently plays for Fulham.
The Championship striker’s current contract is up at the end of June and is unlikely to sign a new one with a number of top European sides interested in signing him.
The 19-year-old has become one of the most highly sought after strikers in European football after an impressive season at the west London side.
According to ESPN, a source close to the player has revealed that Arsenal have entered the race to sign the striker – who also has the likes of Liverpool, Juventus and Galatasaray all keen on signing him up.
A move for Dembele appears viable, with the Gunners in certain need of striking reinforcements, however, if Jamie Vardy does agree to sign for Arsenal, it’s likely that any move for the Fulham star would become unviable.
Arsenal have also expressed an interest in Fulham left-back Ryan Sessegnon and could prise away two of the club’s most prised possessions.
