RC Lens vs. Arsenal: When, where, how to watch it and everything else that you need to know
|Arsenal are set to open their pre-season fixture schedule when they face RC Lens on Friday in France.
The likes of Emiliano Martinez, Per Mertesacker, Mathieu Debuchy, Gabriel, Nacho Monreal, Jeff Reine-Adelaide, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Francis Coquelin, Mohamed Elneny, Chuba Akpom and Alex Iwobi, Chris Willock, Calum Chambers and Serge Gnabry are all likely to feature, while it’s likely to be too early for Jack Wilshere and Joel Campbell to get involved at this stage.
Fan favourite Yaya Sanogo could also feature, having heavily featured in pre-season training so far this summer.
The game takes place on Friday, 22nd July at the Stade Bollaer-Delelis, with kick-off at 7pm BST. It is not broadcast on TV but can be viewed on Arsenal’s official club website.
After the game against Lens, Arsenal’s pre-season opponents look like this:
– MLS All-Stars (Friday, 29th July)
– Chivas De Guadalajara (Monday, 1st August)
– Viking FK (Friday, 5th August)
– Manchester City (Sunday, 7th August)
Full details on all fixtures will be released on GoonerTalk 24 hours prior to kick-off, including team news, how and where to watch.
“Fan favourite Yaya Sanogo” , the trolling is too much :’-D
I’m particularly interested to see who Arsenal start on the wings and upfront versus Lens. Personally I’d like to see:
GK – Martinez
RB – Debuchy
CB – Mertesacker
CB – Chambers
LB – Gibbs
CM – Coquelin
CM – Ox
CAM – Iwobi
RW – Reine-Adelaide
ST – Akpom
LW – Walcott
