Arsenal trained in California on Wednesday afternoon ahead of their second pre-season friendly against MLS All-Stars on Thursday evening.
The Gunners kicked off their pre-season schedule with a 1-1 draw against Lens in France last week – coming from behind to equal terms through Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s lovely chipped strike.
Having arrived in the United States of America earlier this week, the north London side wasted no time and got straight down to work with a double training session.
The likes of Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere Granit Xhaka, Gedion Zelalem and Hector Bellerin were all involved and are expected to play a part on Thursday.
The fixtures provide the likes of Zelalem, Jeff Reine-Adelaide, Krystian Bielik, Rob Holding, Calum Chambers and Chuba Akpom with the opportunity to impress ahead of the new Premier League season – which kicks-off on August 14th with a home fixture against Liverpool.
Arsenal will take on some of Europe’s greatest players when they face the MLS All-Stars on Thursday night, followed by a tie against Chivas De Guadalajara the following Monday.
