Arsenal complete move for midfielder, official announcement imminent

Arsenal have agreed to send Glen Kamara on a season-long loan to FC Dordrecht, according to reports from Voetbal International.

The 20-year-old central midfielder has struggled to establish himself in the red and white shirt and after making his debut as a teenager in the bitterly disappointing loss to Sheffield Wednesday in last season’s Capital One Cup, was sent out on loan to Southend United.

FC Dordrecht play in the second division in the Netherlands and it’s expected that Kamara will experience some invaluable first-team action before making the return to north London next summer, where his future will be decided based on how well he performs whilst away from the club.

Kamara was an integral member of the Arsenal under-21s side that gained promotion to the top division last season and impressed while at Southend, though his game time was severely limited in the latter stages of his time at the club.

Neither side have yet to confirm the deal but an announcement is believed to be imminent.
