Update: Arsenal midfielder training with new side, will play in friendly ahead of loan move

Arsenal midfielder Glen Kamara will play in a friendly for FC Dordrecht this Saturday ahead of a potential season-long loan move, it has been revealed.

Reports from Voetbal International earlier on Thursday revealed that the Gunners had agreed to send Kamara on loan to the Dutch side but further news has revealed that they want to test the Finnish youngster out before taking him on.

Kamara spent part of last year on loan at Southend United and was impressive but failed to nail down a place in the side and looks set for a season that could decide his future.

According to reports coming out of the Netherlands on Thursday evening, Kamara has been training with Dordrecht and they are going to let him play in a friendly on Saturday and should he impress, they will take him on for the campaign.

Should he miss out on the opportunity to go to the Dutch second division side, it’s likely that Kamara will go elsewhere, or will remain with the under-23s.
