Hector Bellerin ‘could be tempted’ by Manchester City move
Yesterday it was reported that Arsenal would offer a new five-yeard deal amid interest from Manchester City and Barcelona. The 21-year-old has quickly established himself as one of the better full-backs in Europe since he broke into Arsenal’s first-team in 2014. Bellerin has two years left on his current deal, while Arsenal are willing to offer him a new five-year contract worth around £100,000 a week. Reports had emerged that
Reports had emerged that Manchester City had tried to sign Bellerin, while Barcelona are also looking to find a new right-back. Now, The Times reports the Arsenal star could reject a new deal with Arsenal in order to move to Manchester City and join Pep Guardiola.
If the reports are true, Arsenal could well face a struggle to keep the Spanish international. If Arsenal don’t tie Bellerin down to a new deal, he will enter the final year of his contract in 2017/18 which only make things harder for the Gunners.
