OGC Nice and France under-21 midfielder, Vincent Koziello, is reportedly being tracked by a host of clubs, including Arsenal according to French news outlet, le10sport.
Dubbed the ‘new Xavi’, Koziello is already a mainstay in the Nice team, at just 20-years-old. Last season, Koziello made 35 appearances for Nice in Ligue 1 last season while scoring three goals and creating nine assists. The young Frenchman is capable of playing as a box-to-box or holding midfield player but at the moment he seems more comfortable as the former.
He has the ability to get forward and play incisive passes but also can put in the odd tackle. According to the report, Arsenal see him as a possible heir to Cazorla, which is a bit far-fetched. Having said that, Koziello is an intriguing talent and has also attracted interest from AC Milan, he’s definitely one to watch out for.
