Juventus hold talks with Cazorla
|
Italian behemoths Juventus are supposed to have held talks over Arsenal star midfielder Santi Cazorla, ovr a summer transfer. According to CalcioMercatoWeb, Juventus are looking to pry the Spanish maestro from North London as he is yet to sign a deal, even though his contract is set to expire in June 2017, which leaves the possibility of leaving on free a strong possibility.
Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is short handed in midfield, signing Cazorla would not only add depth but also immense quality.
Cazrola, however, did state last week that he is still very happy at Arsenal, saying: ‘If they’ll offer me a new contract, I’ll sign it because I am very happy with this great club. I am happy here. I am trusted by the manager and teammates’. Arsenal fans will be hoping that Cazorla does indeed sign a new deal as he has been a staple in Wenger’s XI alongside Francis Coquelin.
Are we going to lose another key player AGAIN… FOR FREE!!?? What is Wenger thinking about? The experience, skills and game intelligence Carzola has cannot be replaced as yet with the crop of players we have – definitely not by Wilshire – if that’s what he’s thinking of doing…!!!!
